Hand in Paw currently has a waiting list for all programs.

To request that your agency be added to our waiting list, please submit this form. We will contact you as soon as possible to schedule a meeting with Programs Director, Liz Wilson. Please note that waiting list priority is determined on the basis of facility appropriateness and volunteer availability.

Answers must be given for all of the following questions.

    11. The success of Hand in Paw’s services is highly dependent upon consistent communication with Hand in Paw staff and volunteers and your facility’s personnel. Therefore, we need to know your level of commitment regarding the following:

  11. Will you provide consistent communication with Hand in Paw Staff? (Frequency and method of communication agreed upon by your facility and Hand in Paw at initial meeting with Programs Director.)
  12. Will you provide consistent communication with Hand in Paw volunteers at your facility? (Frequency and method of communication agreed upon by your facility and Hand in Paw at initial meeting with Programs Director.)
  13. Will you observe current Hand in Paw services of Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) or Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) one time at a current HIP facility prior to implementing HIP services?
  14. Are you willing to attend an annual continuing education workshop provided by HIP?
