At no time has Hand in Paw charged for its services; therefore, we are funded entirely through the generosity of donors, grant monies and proceeds from fundraising events. Because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions made to Hand in Paw are tax deductible. We welcome your contributions with sincere gratitude; you will enable us to continue to improve human health through Animal-Assisted Therapy.

ANNUAL GIVING
Corporate donations are a significant part of our annual budget. If your company would like to make a donation toward our annual giving campaign, the following levels are encouraged.

  • $10,000 Platinum Benefactor
  • $5,000 Gold Benefactor
  • $3,500 Silver Benefactor
  • $2,500 Benefactor

MEMORIALS OR TRIBUTES
Your contribution to Hand in Paw "in honor" of "in memory" of people and/or animals are greatly appreciated. Your gifts are recognized in our outgoing publications. The honoree or his/her family will also receive a tasteful acknowledgement card. THE JESSICA SOCIETY
In memory of Jessica Franklin, Hand in Paw’s first therapy dog, HIP offers you the chance to leave a legacy of love. In the spirit of the small dog with such a big mission, society members have included Hand in Paw in their wills. HIP can be a beneficiary in your will in the following ways:

  • Specific Bequest- An outright gift either as a designated dollar amount or percentage of your estate could be specified.
  • Residual Bequest- Hand in Paw can be named to receive funds only after specific sums have been provided for your other beneficiaries.
  • Contingent Bequest- Takes effect in the event of death of your other primary beneficiaries.
